Special Instructions: The offices of President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer will become vacant at the end of the year. New officers are to be elected and installed at the 174th AHC Assn. reunion in October. They will officially take office on January 1, 2001. Names of candidates who have been duly nominated by another member and have agreed to accept the nominations, are listed on the ballot below. Also, there is a space for each office so that members can write in the names of, and vote for, other candidates of their choice. Only current dues-paying association members can be elected or may cast a vote in the election. A current dues-paying member is one who paid dues last year (for the year 2000) or pays dues this year (for the year 2001). Note: There is a provision on the reunion registration form for paying dues this year (for year 2001).
Completed ballots must be returned to the Secretary/Treasurer, postmarked not later than September 15, 2000. (See
address in letter.)

Special Note: This is obviously not a completely secret election. But, I will be the only person to receive and see the
ballots. After the ballots are counted I will announce the results to all eligible voters, either by e-mail or regular mail. I will,
in no way, divulge any information on who nominated a candidate, voted for any of the candidates, or wrote in a new name on the ballot sheet. Elections in the past were held at the annual reunions and only those present could vote. The voting was by count of hands. This is the best way I could devise inexpensively to ensure that all eligible members could vote, not just those who attend this year’s reunion. The voting information will be entrusted to me and me alone. If anyone cares to challenge the results of the election later, I will produce the ballots but only with the name of the voting member blanked out. I hope this method of voting will meet with your approval.
Bernie Cobb
Secretary/Treasurer
