FSB Mary Ann after the 28 Mar 71 Attack

This photo is looking North to South. While the original photo is not very clear, a number of areas can be made out. The mortar area is in the immediate front. The bunkers in the right foreground have been mostly destroyed. Although it's difficult to see in the photo because the original is blurred, there are about 15 American troops without their shirts working in the debris of the destroyed bunkers. This photo is taken almost along the same line as the first Mary Ann photo, but this one was taken from further back. The same water trailer (or a similar one) is in the "road" beside the mess area. There is also the same wood latrine before the mess area that can be seen in the other photo. The TOC is in the background behind the right-most of the two dark antennas in the foreground. The white flagpole at the VIP pad is also visible, but there is no flag flying from it. The resupply pad is probably beyond the right-most antenna also, before the conex.
