We Try Harder!

Larry Martin, Richard Machina, and I (McDaniel) were all three in the second flight platoon. Not sure whose platoon sign was first, but the first flight platoon put up their hand-painted platoon sign claiming to be "Number One." Of course we in the second platoon had to have a comeback. Both signs were a play on the platoon numbers of course. While perhaps ours was not too original, you may remember this as the slogan for one of the major rental car companies of the day. (OK now, which one was it, Avis or Hertz?)
