Battle Damage

"Early '69 Battle Damage to Dolphin #543. Notice hole near the tailrotor Danger arrow (slightly below and forward of the "D"). Another round went through the drive shaft over my head, and you can also see the frayed control cable just below the bullet hole. This was a three-ship insertion on a mountain peak... a very hairy mission. We took small arms holes all over the aircraft." (see enlargement below)
